I only recorded what was written on the back of each photo! The back of the first photo had actually been covered top to bottom with pencil writing at one time, and then erased and the current caption inked on. I suspect the original, illegible note to have been a letter to Hikie.
In 1947 Margaret was 24, and in 1952 she was 29 (well, in March she was still 28).
