Mom, did your old adage about not wearing black to weddings apply to men as well, or just women? I don't know if you noticed, but everyone here is wearing black. So were both Teresa and Susie (not pictured) and the entire wedding party.
Everyone was wearing black at that big fancy wedding I went to--L's daughter A. I guess that old adage no longer applies. It used to be considered gauche to wear black (as it suggested death) and the bride couldn't wear red.
