Here I am at the Paint Out Art retreat. The picture isn't finished, the mosquitoes got too bad. (I am unfond of pix of me, but thought I'd share anyway.) I know I put this on No Polar and sent it around, but it occurred to me to put it here, too, to be with my fambly.
We are reading Secret Water, by Arthur Ransome, where Brigitte gets to be a "Human Sacrifice" after almost being flooded in the "Red Sea" like an Egyptian. We're almost done with it, so don't give away the ending if you've already read it. Do you read Arthur Ransome to your kids?
