Mom was in a great mood today, cracking jokes, some of them pretty sophisticated. For example, an aide said, let me hold your blanket a minute and Mom started counting, then skipped ahead and said "56, 57, 58 give me back my blanket!"
She was smiling and joking.

I was wishing I could have come along for the visit, but I am completely and utterly sucked into the vortex that is company.
