My braids were frozen solid.

What you can't see is that it was about 11 degrees, very windy, and snowing hard.

Winter Walk

I took this goofy self-portrait by holding the camera out in front of me and shooting back at myself, which provided the normal distortion effects and weird eyes. These shots are never, ever flattering, but this one was redeemed by Erwin's whimsy in inviting himself into the shot. Partially redeemed, anyway. Still goofy as hell. Photo by Sara, 2/2/07.
