
Graham wanted to draw on the back of his napkin at the Coney Island,and asked me what I would like to see. I asked him to draw amotorcycle, because that's an extremely difficult thing to draw frommemory, especially if you don't have a firm grasp of how they areconstructed. Most real artists can't do it (look at cartoons in thepaper, for example). The red-crayon pictures are the result of this.When we got home, I asked him to draw one from life, and he did.Pretty good for a 12-year-old. Keith
